YQ Zipper repair method 1
Zippers are very common in daily life, and play a very important role in daily life as clothing accessories. However, a problem with zippers is that they are frequently broken, especially zippers with poor quality. When the problem of the broken zipper is not serious but affects the use, what should people generally do?
1. Rough or immobile zipper
①. Pull the zipper all the way. If possible, pull the zipper to either end of the zipper to expose all the teeth.
Try to expose all the teeth so that the zipper can be pulled back smoothly.
If the zipper is caught in the fabric of the garment and can't be pulled all the way, keep it that way and find a way to deal with it.
②, rub on the teeth with a drawing pen. Rub the tip of the drawing pencil along the teeth of the zipper so that a layer of pencil dust is left on the teeth.
Pay attention to where the zipper goes wrong, as this is the roughest and most in need of lubrication.
However, be sure to run the drawing pen across the entire zipper to lubricate the entire zipper.
If clothes are clipped, try to smear more pencil under and around the clipped area. You can also dab some pencil dust on the clipped fabric to make it easier to pull out.
The pencil is now the equivalent of a lubricant that is easier to control.
③. Pull the zipper back and forth. Slowly pull the zipper back and forth over the lubricated zipper.
If there is a little bit of resistance, stop and add some more pencil ends, and keep pulling until it goes from one end to the other.
Don't be too fast, as this may create other problems.
If it's caught on the fabric, you'll need to "wiggle" the zipper slowly to gently pull it out.
④, if the end of the pencil is not easy to use, change a strong lubricant.
Other lubricants are soap, candle wax, glass cleaner, and lip balm.
Paint the zipper in the same way.
⑤, after the test. Note that you may have to reapply several times for it to work.
